She was born on June 17, 1954 in Khabarovsk.
In 1976 she graduated from the Khabarovsk State Pedagogical Institute (teacher of history, social studies and English).
The theme of her Candidate’s dissertation is “International meaning of historical experience of the CPSU’s struggle against Trotskism (on the example of the Communist Party of the USA) (MSU, 1982); the theme of her Doctorate dissertation is “State policy in respect of the Jewish population in the Russian Far East in 1860s-1920s” (MCPU, 2001).
Sphere of her academic interests lies within the history of national policy and interethnic relations.
She has published 69 research works including 2 monographs.
