Shalaeva Svetlana Leonidovna – Candidate of Science (Philosophy), Associate Professor at Mari State University (Joshkar-Ola).
The article analyzes the phenomenon of inter-generational relations in modern society; it discusses the critical nature of the latter as well as their metamorphoses which are caused by the dynamic changes happening in the society which, in its turn, are caused primarily by the transformation of systems of values and outlook of a person. The analysis of the changes in question allows for the concept of pre-figurative culture of inter-generational relations which, consequently, calls for serious considerations and assessment of the current situation, as well as conflictological examination, since the model of inter-generational relations acts as the basic model of social behavior of individuals, generations and other social communities in their social dynamics, which considerably influences issues of national security of modern society.
