PROFESSIONAL BURNING-OUT AND SAFETY OF LABOUR
IN SOCIALLY ORIENTED PROFESSIONS

The article considers the problems related to the safety of labour resulting from the condition of emotional burning-out and its impact on the identity of the professional in the context of existential approach. It is posited that while conducting a research of safety of labour in socially oriented professions (the most obvious example being the teacher's profession) one has to consider not only specific components of emotional burning-out, but also the teacher's spiritual and moral qualities and value orientations. It is shown that the destruction of these qualities may become the factor influencing the safety of labour and personality viewed both as the subject of activity and co-subject of his professional activity.
