RESULTS OF MODERN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION:

Annotation

The article demonstrates the author's approach to the correlation of concepts of "professional competence", "competencies", and "aptness for activity" while undertaking the critical analysis of the current acting standard of higher education. The key features of professional competence and competencies are distinguished, systemic groups of competencies of professional activity are substantiated (the focus being the activity of the psychologist in the domain of education). On the basis of holistic approach to professional activity aptness for activity is considered as both the purpose and cumulative result of vocational training.
