THEATRICAL ART IN FAR EASTERN RUSSIA AT THE TIME OF WWII AND WARFARE MOTIFS IN REGIONAL REPERTOIRE

In this article the author outlines a panorama of theatrical life in the Far Eastern region during the Great Patriotic War (WWII). A retrospect of military-themed plays in the region’s integral repertoire – since the post-war time up till today – permits us to visualize the artistic past and present of the Far Eastern theaters, and to highlight their appreciation of memorable events in Russian history.
