RUSSIA AND CHINA TODAY: TWO VIEWS ON THE REFORM OF THE NATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION

The article dwells upon the contemporary systems of higher education in Russia and China. The author sheds light upon the principles of national policy in the sphere of higher education, describes its aims and structure, state educational standards, typology and various forms of higher educational institutions, analyses management system of the higher educational establishments and the mechanisms of financial distribution in the domain of higher education, both in Russia and China. The article also discusses the issues of international collaboration of higher educational institutions in the given two countries.
