Annotation
The article considers the aspects of self-organization process maintained among the student body in higher educational establishments. Much attention is paid to parallels established between personal and collective self-organization with additional emphasis on the analysis of empirical data. It is specially noted that the focal point in the activity of student associations is shifted from the habitual cultural and entertaining to the plane of active participation of students in the universitys activities.
