COUNTERING THE SPREAD OF REVOLUTIONARY MOVEMENT IN THE ARMY AND NAVY IN THE FAR EAST OF THE RUSSIAN EMPIRE DURING THE REVOLUTION OF 1905–1907

The article discusses the peculiarities of the organization of the fight against revolutionary movements in the Army and Navy on the territory of Priamursky Krai during the period of the First Russian revolution of 1905–1907. It reveals the basic directions of the activity of bodies of the gendarmerie and security divisions undertaken against the spread of anti-government sentiments in the Army and Navy, as well as the nature of interactions between the local government and various agencies when providing assistance in solving this problem.
