ON THE WAY TO THE REVOLUTION: THE GARRISON OF THE VLADIVOSTOK FORTRESS IN 1905

Annotation
This article analyzes the problems related to the history of the Vladivostok Fortress’s garrison in the time of the Russo-Japanese War of 1904–1905. It examines the process of the special reinforcement of the fortress’s garrison in 1905, and considers its peculiarities. The author distinguishes a number of precepts of the revolutionary uprising in the garrison in October of 1905.
