STRATEGY PROJECTS FOR KHABAROVSKY KRAI TOURIST MARKET DEVELOPMENT: MARKETING APPROACH

Annotation

The article describes methods of strategic planning and marketing aimed for determining prospective projects of the Khabarovsky Krai tourist market development. Authors describe the results of SWOT analysis undertaken for two projects: 1) the construction of a tourist and recreation complex on the Russian territory of the Bolshoi Ussuriysky Island and 2) the construction of Congress and Exhibition Complex in Khabarovsk. On the basis of the SWOT analysis results the authors developed strategic objectives and goals for the two projects, that should be developed into a Regional Tourist Market Development Program. The two projects realization will help to increase Khabarovsky Krai tourist market capacity and to improve tourism infrastructure in the region.
