Annotation

The article reveals certain unknown episodes and facets of Cho Myung Hee’s cultural activity in the Far East of Russia and dis-closes his great contribution to the development of the Korean culture and art in the scope of ten years: since the enthusiast’s rise in the summer of 1928 until his arrest and deportation of the whole Korean population in the autumn of 1937.
