Annotation

The article considers one of the forms of representation of Russian identity, specifically, the usage of symbolic images of corpo-reality. The author posits that the specified images are archetypal by nature; they tend to preserve their relevance even during major ethnocultural transformations. The basic groups of symbolic images of corporeality are explicated.
