Annotation

This paper is devoted to the organization of vocational activities and employment for intellectually disabled people; it presents an analysis of regional conditions and requirements essential for employment and professional qualification. The authors briefly describe the professional selection criteria which are believed to be the basis for the organization of vocational guidance of persons with impaired physical and mental health, viewed as a necessary condition of their vocational fulfilment.
