ENGLISH IN SPORTS SUBCULTURE CALLED ULTIMATE FRISBEE

The paper examines the interaction of language and globalization, looking at different practices of the youth subculture called ul-timate frisbee. The article analyzes the role of English as a means of identity construction and as a way of accentuation of hidden meanings – that are both globally and locally oriented.
