Annotation

The article discusses the issues of intermediary translation of East Asian words from English as a lingua franca to Russian and back. The concept of translation convertibility serves as a criterion for reliability of the text intelligibility in inverse translation. The authors argue that the course of intermediary translation should be included in the European language translation curricula.
