Annotation

This article provides an overview of the directions of the scientific research undertaken by psychologists, research fellows at Kemerovo State University, in the context of the state-of-the-art methodologies for the psychological study of personality development.

The authors have attempted to implement adaptive approach to the description of the determinants of personal development at the post-non-classical stage of development of psychology.

Resorting to the adaptation paradigm in terms of predicting patterns of personal development provides a wide range of various prognostic criteria and complex indicators such as capacities and resources, system structure of the subject of adaptation, cross-linking, adaptive and personal maturity, axiological and semantic regulation of behavior, plurality of adaptive behavioral effects, and diversity of individual adaptation factors.
