THE PROBLEM OF A PERSON'S PSYCHOLOGICAL READINESS FOR LIFE AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

Annotation

The article deals with psychological readiness of a person as a personality and a subject of labor. Psychological readiness is considered as a complex dynamic system phenomena of social and vital importance as well as social and economic changes, social and technological transformation experienced by a person. They require readiness for self-determination, overcoming, self-actualization, realization and development of person's current capabilities, identification with the world around, adaptation to unpredictable events in changing society and professional activity.

This article represents a new approach to the study of prerequisites for the formation of a personality and a subject of labor as potential basis of a successful person in life and professional activity. The theoretical foundations of this approach are A.N. Leontiev's theory, theoretical and experimental studies of Russian and foreign scientists on ontogenetic development of a personality and a subject of labor in pre-professional period of life. The article represents the analysis of these studies, which has shown that the study of dynamics of development of cognitive activity identify the main features, the mechanisms of regulation and the formation of a personality and a subject of labor.

This article introduces the analysis of development of cognitive activity as a dynamic polysystem, which includes successive phases such as: familiarization and cognitive, cognitive and orienting, cognitive and transforming, educational and professional. Each of them provides formation of different levels of a personality and a subject of labor through the formation of changing hierarchical relationships, reveals three levels of formation of a person as the personality and the subject of labor. The analysis also reveals the possibility of application of cognitive activity as the integral indicator of potential resources of person's psychological readiness for life and professional activity. This allows to predict the nature and the direction of cognitive activity, the awareness of social and personal significance, mental growth and functionality, prospects for improvement, and also to consult on different stages of formation of person's psychological readiness for life and professional activity.
