Annotation

The Soviet-Korean border guard after the Second World War was an inalienable part of forming a system of border guard in the Far East of the USSR. The historic experience of the Soviet-Korean border guard relationship is especially valuable for the Russian Federation, building its own modern border guard policy.

Key words: the Far East, Soviet-Russian border, China, border population, Hassan border unit, territorial waters of the USSR.
