FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN THE KHABAROVSK KRAY (IN THE 1960S)*

The paper is devoted to a little-investigated theme - the formation of the tourist industry in the Khabarovsk Kray. These activities began in the Kray and the whole USSR in the middle of the 20th century. Measures of the social program implemented under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) and the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions (VTzSPS) and increase in the material and cultural level of the Soviet people led to the fact that tourism became one of the notable features of the Soviet way of life.
