Annotation

The article considers the colony of Soviet citizens in North Manchuria during the conflict between the Soviet Union and China on the Chinese Eastern Railway in 1929. It analyses socio-economic position of Soviet citizens, their mood, forms of protest at the repression of the Manchurian government, and the role of Soviet Communist Party authorities in the territory of North Manchuria in the activity of the Soviet colony during the conflict.
