Annotation

The article presents an attempt to summarize the available factual material obtained as a result of research in the sphere of ethnography, anthropology, archaeology and linguistics conducted in the territory of the Khabarovsk Kray during the early years of the establishment of the Soviet Power. The author also makes an endeavour to evaluate the results of that research for domestic and foreign science from the present day position.
