CLASSICS AND POSTMODERN: IS DIALOGUE POSSIBLE? (AN EXPERIENCE OF CULTUROLOGICAL INTERPRETATION OF SEVERAL MOVIES OF THE "NEW RUSSIAN" CINEMATOGRAPH)
Breitman A. S.

Annotation

Culturological interpretation of the films "Dark Night" by O. Kovalov, "Down House" by R. Kachanov "About Fedot-the-Strelets" by R. Ovcharov draws to the conclusion that modern screen reconsideration of classics, which is often shocking and provoking, is capable of building a productive dialogue between classical and post-modern art.

Key words: cinematography, classical and post-modern art, virtual reality, modern cinema.
