The article studies the requirements which the model of a specialist being an informational equivalent of a real graduate must meet. The structure of professional outlook of such a specialist is defined and analyzed. The type of activity which can be described by the synonyms “imaginative”, “heuristic”, “creative” is investigated. The structure of activity of a humanitarian type is analyzed in detail. Special attention is paid to the imaginative (heuristic, creative) type of activity. The problem of adequate control in teaching the activity in question is raised.
