Art culture as the system of institutional relationship of the production and consumption of the artistic values plays a great role in differentiation between the system and the vital world, the fact which is extremely important for modern social theory.
The conception of differentiation between the system and the life-world has a great methodological potential. It permits to explain art culture's social being, its contradictions and "abnormalities" and at the same time to reveal the possibilities, make prospects of the harmonic development and optimal functioning of the given phenomenon on a new level of philosophical and methodological consciousness claimed by social and cultural experience of the contemporary society.
Regarding art culture being in paradigm system life-world aims at the analytical distinguishing of different sides of the given phenomenon and depicting their structure and content. Besides, this conception implies the analysis of the complex contradictory processes of the life-world colonization by the system and "active defending battles of the enslaved life-world". (J. Habermas).
